A couple of weeks ago we spent a fascinating day here in Groombridge with James Duncan and Laurie Jackson of Sussex Wildlife Trust. We learned so much in a short time, and it was wonderful to learn from such knowledgeable, practical and inspiring people.
I asked how we could carry out better surveys of the wildlife in Groombridge, and James invited us to a whole day of training in Ecological Surveying and Recording Techniques down at Rye Harbour on 23 August 2024. Wow!
Even better, the training is free, and open to anyone who sees this post – you don’t have to be a Sussex Wildlife Trust member. Nor do you need to be an expert, to my relief!
